GMA Writer Goes on a 24-Hour TV Series Marathon to Get New Ideas

Quezon City – Due to the lack of new creative ideas from herself and her staff, GMA head writer Suzette Dinoctor engages in a  24-hour TV series binge watch to try and gather new concepts and ideas for future shows for GMA.

In a Facebook post, Dinoctor reveals that she is spending her day off watching top-rated TV series to see “what the fuss is all about with these popular TV shows.” Armed with her tablet and a big bowl of buttered popcorn, Dinoctor started the Marathon with highly acclaimed series Arrow.

“My strategy has always been to spin already existing stories and make some changes to the character’s name to make it more interesting,” said Dinoctor. “It’s actually kind of brilliant because I don’t need to use my imagination that much yet the masses gobble it right up.”

Her brand new series is expected to air within a few months once the executives approve whatever she comes up with.
