The Philippines to Have 2 Vice Presidents


Manila – The Philippines is going to have 2 Vice Presidents in office come the inauguration day in June.

Both Vice Presidential candidates Leni Robredo and Bongbong Marcos have already declared winning the tight race and both are already preparing for office. To celebrate their respective victories, both Robredo and Marcos also offered separate masses. Robredo held hers at the Church of Getsu at the Ateneo de Manila University campus in Quezon City. Marcos offered his own mass at the Redemptorist Church in Baclaran, Parañaque.

Both camps have claimed to tell the truth about the election results, Robredo saying she won fair and square and Roxas saying he was cheated. Supporters of each candidate also engage in online skirmishes as the race is still ongoing.

At a press conference, media representatives from different countries lauded the country’s peaceful process of resolving conflicts between two prominent candidates.
